Hobby update - 3D printed buildings

Here are some extra models to add to the pool of models for our Frostgrave games. Alan gave me a couple of flageolets and these can be either barbarians or infantrymen for the witch hunters.
Here is my daemon for the Genie in a Bottle scenario. This is an old model from Raging Heroes. This model is probably at least 10-15 years old.
This is one of the filament buildings, it’s the tavern.

Here is the front entrance the two levels are playable and there is even detail on the inside of the roof

Here is a shot of all 4 buildings squashed together. This gives you an idea of how big the buildings are.
That’s the big house, it’s even comes with a little garden area at the back.
This is the small house, it’s still well built
This is the church. The tower will fit an infantry model inside. It’s not very big other than the tower.
I am working on some beastmen to add some complication to the Well of hopes and dreams. The beastmen are doing their best to defile the water in the well. No wizard wants to drink from a well that a beastman has used as a commode. Thee are old classic metal models.

Frostgrave introduction and trial game

 I tried out my illusionist warband against George’s construct building enchanter. My warband are made from the Shadow stalker and the underworlds box. They are supplemented with a classic avatars of war thief and a witch Elf thug. I have two shadow hounds and an illusionary one. The trick with this warband is to rush up a war dog, then transpose that with a fast mover and then in the apprentice phase swap the illusionary dog with the treasure carrier. On a 3 by 3 table you can get the central treasure under control in your deployment zone by the end of the apprentice phase in turn 1. We played the mausoleum scenario which turned out to be even better, there were uncontrolled creatures right next to the treasure and they don’t resist being transposed.  The terrain is set out to represent an abandoned or soon to be depopulated Empire village.  Here we are Pete in the first turn. Call To Arms 2025

 We held our annual convention Call to Arms on the weekend of 30-31 August. About 160 wargamers from all over New Zealand came and played in 10 different events. Up on the stage we had a couple of different Napoleonic games. They are great looking games with nice armies in spiffy uniforms. The main hall was mostly filled with GW games. on the far left we have the MESBG, then AOS. These were two of our largest events. In the middle of the hall, we have the Horus Heresy games On the right of the hall, we have Kill Team, Flames of War, Warhammer Old World and some of the Demo games including Alan's huge zombie apocalypse game. (more on that later) The ancient gamers are on their preferred side hall. It's warm, quiet and close to the toilets. There were 18 of them playing DBMM This is one of the MESBG tables. Stargrave game 2 - It's a bug hunt

  George and I got in a second game of our Stargrave campaign. We used the dead or alive mission and generated the Brood Mother. I didn't think it made much sense for a group of human mercenaries to work for a creature that kept trying to get them to bathe in marinade. I replaced all the mercenaries with spiders using the creatures from Quadrant 37. We used the Transmat to beam down to the planet Spiridon This is a very hostile jungle planet teaming with all sorts of lethal predators. Receiving reports of unidentified aliens hiding in the Plane of Stones we set out through the jungle to find out what was going on.  Here is the Raknos nest, somewhat unexpected. In addition. the nearby volcano is showing signs of an imminent eruption. Here we have the crew deployed. We have a new Engineer, I think I forgot to deploy one of the team.
