Hobby update Warriors of Athena

I am organising Warriors of Athena for the Call to Arms convention and I have been working on some Greek myth terrain. Yes Christopher Nolan is making a movie in support of my convention event. Hopefully our heroes will be less radical casting choices. Richard and Alan had been showing me some terrain from Gale Force 9 and the NZ shop has great prices much better than the US. This is contrary to historical practice but very welcome. Here is an overview of the terrain I got, two large rocky hills and some spires. This is what they are like straight out of the box. Here is a close up of the rocky spires, Richard has a set of these that we are using for Deth Wizard, they are very useful. This is what it looks like after a repaint and with the addition of some Geek Scenic Mediterranean basing materials. Deth Wizards, game 8 Invading the City

Richard and I got together to continue our rampage through the lands of the living. This time we were off to raid the city. This table needed 9 buildings, and we also had an urban park. Nice to see the living like a bit of green in their built up areas. Here are the defenders, there are two rangers, two priests and three rogues. The necromancers decide to attack right when the pubs are closing, and the peasants are pouring out into the street to stagger their way home. Those souls are getting a lot of wear and tear. They should be reallocated to someone that can make more use of them.  Krell turned into a swarm of bugs and went right through the nearest pub and landed right next to a group of peasants that had just left the Scarlet Manticore. One Eruption of Death later and Krell was back at max Necromantic Energy, there were five shriveled husks lying on the ground and Krell also had enough personal kills for the XP point for that. Richard's Bone Giant wandered into three peasants...
