I also got into the one-day Stargrave event. Inspired by my recent Dro Who themed team I'm using in the campaign I made a team lead by the Doctor. This team is inspired by the episode Day of the Daleks - with a side order or St Trinians fighting zombies or just rebelling against their teachers after listening to too much Pink Floyd. The Models are from Crooked Dice This shot also shows my three objectives I need for the Saga event. My team faction is made up of UNIT soldiers led by Brigadier Lethbridge- Stuart, the St Trinians hockey team and some time travelling rebels from the future.  I was in charge of designing the scenario for this game. Here was the initial background information we all received. Initial Message “Calling all independent crews. This is Duke Federugo from Zingara. My daughter the Princess Chabella has taken the royal yacht and a small crew and fled the palace. I am not sure why she left, maybe asking her to marry Count Verona was too much. Please find and bring my daughter back safely. If you are brave enough to achieve this task, the reward could be more wealth than you can imagine! Second Message “…….This is Princess Chabella…..Mayday. Mayday…….. My ship has fallen under attack, we are making an emergency landing on the only habitable planet in the system…. We made it to the surface, it’s very cold here. Some of my surviving crew have disappeared. We dare not send out search parties to look for them…. It will be dark soon, and it’s only going to get colder. We are going to take shelter in some nearby caves … I’m setting the ship...

We are starting a new campaign for Stargrave, the theme for this one is Space Western. Crews are supposed to be made from the official plastic models. This is a crew themed from the movie Battle Beyond the Stars. The movie starred "John Boy Walton" as an inexperienced farm boy that wanders around looking for Mercenaries. It also stars "Hannibal Smith" and the "Man from Uncle". These models are made from Stargrave models, Frostgrave models and Cowboy models from Great Escape games (but bought from Northstar so they get in on a technicality. The Bruiser is made from a Tribesman from the Ghost Archipelago range. My gunfighter, inspired by the St Esmin character is made from several models, including a hat from a Hasslefree female Astrix model. This crew is inspired by the Dr Who Episode Frontier in Space.
