Repent! I have a cunning plan my lord.
Now on game 4 we are getting something of a reputation as god botherers and the opposition is getting more capable.
Because we are trying to defeat the god of Ninja's several of the enemy cultist units hide in terrain rather than in a conventional deployment, we are up against a group of archer/hunters and they become hidden at the end of their activation. Our wizards spent some of their action detecting hidden models, being the parties sonar system. Here is the second wave.
The action has started. Richard's wizard went first so there were no corpses to make explode so she had to scan for hidden life forms so the rest of us could hit things. My B'stard is getting swarmed by minions. My Soldier has gone in and killed some of the blood wizards. Everyone else is lining up for a go.
Here we are grinding our way through the forest. The chaos warriors have come down off their mountain.
My B'stard has moved into position to attack models, we are now grinding into the archers.
My Soldier has been teleported by my sorceress to the far treasure and has picked it up. We now have all the secondary objectives and just need to kill the last of the cultists before the end of the turn for a glorious victory. Two of the Dross have been running around the table or hiding so this might be difficult.
Archaeon and my Forsaken finished off a couple of the chaos warriors and one of Geoff's soldiers is about to go frothing off after the last cultists.
Terrible picture where the camera locked onto the felt and the depth of field was too short. A cultist was hiding in the ruins and gathering his courage he leapt out to attack my soldier. He even managed to hit me and I blocked with my shield smashing him for enough damage to kill him.
We have one more chaos warrior and a pirate to kill and not may activations to do it.
Richard's Forsaken managed to pull off a double kill with his crossbow. There was much discussion about how to go about this and many cunning plans were discussed and discarded. Geoff's soldier moved up and got a strike and this was blocked by the chaos warriors shield removing that obstacle for the turn.

Richard's forsaken switched to crossbow shot the chaos warrior and with his free move after killing an opponent, jogged over and shot the last cultist.
