Deth Wizards - no sucking for old necromancers.

Image
Drusus led his warband back to attack the humans again. This time there were three warriors a wizard and a priest. We now have 2 vampires, a mummy, three vampire spawn and a skeleton archer. Rachel was sitting this one out to allow the skellie archer to take her place. I was very impressed by Richard’s anti wizard tactic of using the archer to pop the wizards magic shield leaving him more vulnerable to a follow up attack by a set of fangs. The new batch of victims, sorry that’s stalwart defenders to you tooth boy baaaargh! An overview of the table, the undead are in the top left and the defenders in the bottom right. The necromancers moved forwards and teleported the skellie and the vampire. The skellie then activated and popped the wizards magic shield with his arrow and did 4 points of damage. Great start Mr Skellie The necromancer and the vampire lurk behind the buildings waiting for the defenders. The spawn have run into position to attack next turn. The Vampire flies over the buil...

Deth Wizards, - necromancers don’t suck

Image
I got inspired by all the fun I was having with Richard and seeing him have fun with his vampires so I decided to make a different necromancer leading a vampire themed warband. Here is my Necromancer Drusus Von Meckleburg. His is a sticker so good a sticking them back together and he is also the most magical of the necromancers. Here the necromancer and his minions have deployed in the top right while the brave defenders are emerging from their houses. There are three warriors and three archers. Drusus has a vampire and 3 vampire spawn, named Phoebe, Monica and Rachel. Now they can be friends for all eternity and not just in the reruns. Crap! It’s Vampires! A blurry shot of the necromancers forces. A close up of the defenders as they take to the field of battle. The necromancer used his stitcher spell relocate to teleport the vampire and Monica forwards. There are three vampire then leapt over the building and almost are a villager A spearman came running around the corner to find...

Frostgrave - Witch Hunters - The only good chaos witch is a dead one.

Image
Slomon Kane and his stalwart band are navigating the Drakenwald forest searching for signs of corruption. Arriving at a ruined hamlet deep in the woods the party come across a Chaos sorcerer enacting a ritual, surrounded by daemons and spider cultists. Solomon opens negotiations with a fireball before Gwendolin brings down the witch with a critical hit from her crossbow. Both sides close the distance. Aemos ends up in combat with the Spider cult leader assisted??? by Penelope. Guido, our new Estalian Swordsman, dispatches a cultist. Basil the Flagellant smashes a corrupted tree with his flail. Derek the other Flagellant, buffied by the Strength of Sigmar charges the Spider cult boss and deals damage. The Spider Cult champion is quickly dispatched with the backswing. One of the Daemons gets a chunk taken out of it. The other daemon decides it wants the taste of wizard dripping from it's tonsils followed by one of the cultists. In the bottom left one of the cultists is busy stabbing ...

Five Parsecs from home

Image
I have enjoyed Five Parsecs from home, I recently got inspired to make a new campaign. This one is set in Mega City One. I created Squad Vandris a group of Mega City One judges that are investigating the criminal goings on in Sector 46. So far, they have been on 4 missions and are picking up clues about the criminal organisations impacting the sector. We are moving from random assignments to more of a police procedural format. These missions are up on my YouTube channel. Here are some pictures from these games. This is my map of what is left of Mega City One. After the chaos plague there is not much left. It's a time of rebuilding. Unfortunately it's also an opportunity for criminal enterprises to emerge to fill the power vacuum. The team have set up in Sector 46 which is on the peninsular jutting into the Black Atlantic. Ships bringing in relief supplies could also be smuggling black market goods or people into the city. Here is Squad Vandris, they act a bit like a SWAT unit d...
