The Daemon's Claw

After trekking through the disgusting swamp Robin and his band were looking for shelter. They came across a farmhouse and some out buildings. Figures could be seen moving in the windows. Will wanted to storm the place and kill all the cultists. Robin thought that they might be normal villagers and therefore friends. Robin sneaked forwards and called out "Nottingham"! A voice answered back "Sherriff". That was not the best answer but at least it wasn't cultists. Here is the farmhouse, some of the out-buildings are rather dilapidated. When the team made it into the farmhouse, the found a couple of men at arms wearing the livery of the Sherriff of Nottingham. There were several locals and farmers. Robin and his crew have made it to the bottom of the stairs. The land is a morass of bogs, swamp and deep water dotted here and there by the sagging bones of ruined buildings poking from the brown mess of the ground. Human looking figures pulled themselves out of the muck and started shambling towards the party. The stench was awful, some party members were sickened by the poisonous vapors swirling from the water. The band of adventurers managed to drag themselves from the deep water. Fortunately they were only lightly equipped. Being weighted down with heavy armour and shields would have made exiting the water much more difficult. The Bog zombies were adept at navigating their home environment and closed quickly. Furtunately they were less adept at fighting and were defeated and driven back Much is making his way towards one of the treasure markers, the rest of the team have made it out of the river. I the second mission we were sent into the ShadowDeep (Wales) to find out what is going on. The newly rescued Marion has joined the team. Here we are at the top of the escarpment Looking down the path we can see three ruined buildings. The air hangs heavy with the stench of death. Two giant flies buzz towards the team, One gets taken out by a swat from Much's staff. Several members of the team are sickened by the stench of this place and are weakened by nausea. Robin, Marion and John lead the advance one fly is dealt with, but another takes its place. More  flies emerge and are swatted. Friar Tuck made it to one of the ruined buildings and set it on fire. Robin encountered a clue marker. No Flies on us this turn, Will Scarlet makes it to a second building and prepares to set it one fire. We uncover evidence of someone camping here, the team make it to the bottom of the stairs. Hopefully the train of burning buildings we left won't signal any intelligent opponents.
