Deth Wizard - start of the campaign
After our trading game a couple of weeks ago Ricar an I teamed up to start our campaign of Deff Wizard.
I chose to make my Necromancer a fighty one with the War Reaper ability so unlike most wizards he likes it up close and personal so chose to use my Krell model. He has a bodyguard of a Death knight and three Skellies
Here are the stout defenders, perhaps a bit less stout and a bit more weapons practice.
Everyone is racing to the first house, Richard's wizard and vampire team up to claim the first kill. There is a second warrior bravely trying to hold back the undead horde while looking around for his comrades.
Mor warriors arrive from behind the buildings. Richard is forming a defensive perimeter with his Skellies from where his vampire can launch out and attack. Krell has moved around the other side, he hit one warrior with his axe for 6 damage, then the death knight came over and took it down to one.
Krell moves deeper into the ranks of the defenders and unleashes a storm of undeath this kills two peasant bowmen and reduces the two warriors to half wounds The Skellies take some free stabs at the warriors before running over to block the gap at the house. Richard's archer manages to finish off a wounded warrior.
A second wave of necromantic energy rolls from Krell and claims the souls of the last warriors on this side of the building. Those peasants don't like having their souls ripped from their bodies. No Sir they don't.
Here is Richard cleaning up the last peasant bowman with his Skellies. "Good Night Peasant!"
Having his minions do the work caused Richard to only get 3 kills and this miss out on an experience point.
Krell accounted for 4 personally so ended up with 5 xp. I'm still not sure what to spend it on, maybe I will keep it until after the next game where we are off to secure a shrine from some deluded defenders.
We both got an extra Skellie but failed to roll for more undead minions.

A nice quick game. Krell has taken up residence in a cave, probably an ancient tomb. His minions are working to expand it into a full dungeon when not out terrorising the local area.
