Case 7 - who else made it out alive?

Alan's Inquisition team and George's Ork lootas were also looking to escape by the same route as Inquisitor Rathbournes team.

These pictures show how they got on.

Here are the Orks spilling into the corridor. The Orks tried shooting through the bars but were bottled up in the entrance way for several turns.

Inquisitor Malus, barely made it out of the starting point and were quickly pinned down with zombies bursting in from all sides. A profusion of smoke grenades were deployed to prevent or at least minimise the firepower of the zombie troopers.
In the third room, the inquisitor was confronted by one of the rightly feared bloater zombies. If that go into the room amongst the team and exploded the casualties could be horrific. The Orks are clearing a room in the bottom right of this picture. They had made slow but steady progress.

About this time the Orks took down Inquisitor Rathbourne. In the next combat roll the Ork Warboss attacked a zombie, I rolled for this zombie and rolled a critical hit. This got past the Mega Armour and took down the boss. I made the appropriate sacrifices to the outer darkness after the game.
Here are the orks on all their Xenos glory. The corridor running from right to left was the passage that allowed them to shoot Inquisitor Rathbourne. The central objective is just beyond the doo under the big dice. Inquisitor Rathbourne's second team are just on the other side of the door. I was considering attacking the Orks with two machine guns and a flame thrower the casualties could be significant. but they would likey be serious for both sides so I didn't press the attack.
The Orks had made it into the central room near the main objective. Inquisitor Malus and her survivors looked on in frustration as the Orks took control of the central objective while they were stuck in combat with hordes of zombies.
With the bloater zombie finally dealt with Malus led her team forwards but there were zombies pouring out of every hatch and casualties started to mount.
"They're coming out of the goddam walls"
You can see Alan's hand moving another killer zombie closer to his team.
More zombies make it into combat with the Orks.
The Orks even had the resources to summon an extra drone and set it to do burn outs around the hatch in the middle of the room.
With a suitably rude gesture, the Orks looted the room and started to evac.
Malus's hardest or luckiest members have finally cleared the room of zombies and are making tracks towards some loot.
The last of the Orks are encouraged to exit the area. A large number of zombies want to invite them to attend a meeting to buy a time share.
At this time Alan was the only player left on the table so all the zombies were drawn to him. He needed to move fast or he would be overrun.
"Multiple signals closing on our position, the readings off the scale"
There are three blips in the room with Malus and more in the next room. Some have spawned into soldiers.
Malus looked to her Leutenant, "Go, I'll be right behind you"
The Interrogator looked back knowingly.

In the end Alan made it off the table with two models, carrying two loot tokens. In desperation the inquisitorial agent had to use the same tunnel as the Orks.
To add insult to injury Alan's gunner died, so he will need to be replaced.
The Orks made it off the table with 4 loot tokens including the central one. I hear the Ork Warboss is already talking about a new red paint job for his ship.
