Nobody expects the Inquisition

I got to play a couple of games of Kill Team on Saturday. After watching plenty of cop shows on TV I wanted to try out a combined Inquisition and Arbites task force. This allowed me to reuse some familiar capabilities.

First game was against Tony and his Kroot. This was my first game against Kroot.

Here we are ready to go, we are investigating an industrial plant.
Down at the other end of the field are the Kroot
The Revalatum has dashed forwards and this allowed me to loot 4 objectives in the first turn. The Kroot have done sneaky things with their hound to recover their item.
The Kroot are pushing forwards, trying to make up for lost time. The Arbites marksman managed to zap the Bowcaster Kroot but was then sniped by the Kroot sniper in return. The Kroot sniper went on to have a very good game.
There was a fight developing around the objective behind the smokestack. The Revalatum moved forwards to shoot the hound or the warrior wrestling for the objective. It is great being able to shoot into combat and having ploys that mean the enemy is targetable.
Kroot gangsters acting suspicious
The Mystic is holding down an objective and killed the Kroot hound and decided that the DNA evidence would be good for headquarters to investigate,
The Inquisition were running out of operatives at the end of the game but the focus on looting allowed them to squeak out a victory.
In the second game I played Ed and his Arcon Dark Edar, The Revalatum raced forwards spiked dice and disintegrated the heavy gunner. I also managed to kill the Blaster gunner for the loss of the hardened veteran.
Here are the devious Dark Eldar. Their poison expert has dashed forwards.
Turn 2 and things fell apart, the Dark Eldar Melee experts were capable of killing the inquisition agents fairly easily. In the worst incompetence, the subjugator charged the flayer, failed to hit with any dice and died allowing the flayer to charge the servitor that had staggerd over to hold down the objective.
I managed to kill another seize and interrogate target. The leader with an upgraded auto pistol and the denounce ability gives you someone that is quite good at shooting. The mystic is also great and can shoot indirect.
The Dark Eldar leader charged my interrogator who could not drage the evidence away fast enough. It wasn't a fair fight and the interrogator was cut down.

So two more fun games
