Rangers of Shadowdeep - The Devil's Finger
The crew have tracked Baron DeBellem's cult back to an old tower, known colloquially as the Devil's Finger.
Robin led the sneak up to the tower and used the keys found at the river campsite to open the doors.
The team opened the door to find the cultists torturing some of the Sheriff of Nottigham's soldiersRobin fired an arrow taking our one of the cult soldiers, and then charged into the room, Will Scarlet then took down another and we were able to rescue one of the Sherriff's soldiers. Two others were too weak to be able to assist.
The team started up the stairs, you have only 4 turns to get into the next room or the defenders have time to prepare and the rooms get harder.
This room had some more cultists, this time the arrow and charge tactic didn't work, and the fighting was close and fierce.
The Cultists started falling but would they fall fast enough?
Will takes down the last archer and the crew arranged themselves on the stairs. Herne moved to secure some loot. While Friar Tuck investigated something else, probably to see if it was edible.
The final room looked like a store room, it was packed with robed cultists.The fighting was starting to take its toll of the heroes, Herne was out of healing magic.
Eric of Wickham had a back and forth battle with one of the cultists but ended victorious. Robin felled a cultist and Will moved to engage the last one.
The Survivors arrange themselves on the stairs. Fortunately, that's the end of the mission and everyone gets to heal 8 points before we enter the final room.
