Armageddon - Repelling the Goblin raiders

Here we have the band of brave adventurers. We have Harry the Hammer, Sir Luke the Lionheart, Croman the Barbarian, a Cleric, a Wizard and a Warlock.
We used D&D rolls to generate the stats of the characters and then used the characteristic modifiers to convert to Rangers of Shadow Deep style attributes.

Here is the peaceful and sleepy village of Dunny on the Marsh
The Goblins have surrounded the village and are trying to herd everyone into the middle so they can collect their tribute. The Heroes or at least some of them are entering through the trees at the bottom.

Battle is soon joined with the Rat Goblin tribe and the heroes.
Sire Luke leads his lionhearts into the fight while most of the villagers flee from the goblins, Harry and Croman have fought their way through most of the nearest goblins.
More goblins arrive but find themselves enscorcelled with a magical sleep spell.
As the Heroes close in the last two surviving goblins flee cackling threats.

The Heroes have tracked the Goblins back their lair and. Harry leads his team into the guard room.

Sir Luke leads his retainers into an adjacent room via a secret door.
The heroes advance down the corridor and run into the Owlbear whis is kept by the Goblins as a secret weapon.
The Heroes defeat the Owlbear and break into the Goblin leader's quarters. The Goblin leader is a Bugbear.
The point about not attacking the villagers is hammered home in a fierce debate. Magic support takes out most of the leaders inner circle and the final bodyguard is hacked to bits.

In the confusion one of the goblins makes a break for it
Queue Benny Hill chase music, as the heroes set off in hot pursuit. But the agile goblin is faster than the heavily armoured heroes and makes his escape.

Luks set up the castle for the second scenario, he pulled down several walls to make a large auditorium space filled with all the members of the goblin tribe. Lukes Warlock then tosses a mini nuke into the room and blows most of the tribe to bits. We then mopped up.

These games were loads of fun and lots of people came to talk to use about our games and hobby.
