Hobby update - new terrain tables

I have been building some more terrain.

Mos Millatt is my desert terrain building set. Its made out of polystyrene and covered with plaster and tile grout. The buildings are inspired by techniques I saw on Kathy Millatt's channel, hence naming the town in her honour.

This is an overview of the town. This is a pretty packed layout on a 3 by 3 foot board. I have another three buildings still being finalised so I could expand the layout to 6 by 4 and create some streets and add some scatter terrain. I still like the idea of nice crowded streets.
Here is a models eye view through the city gate. This could be a starship crew hoping the cantina is still open.
Round the back of the cantina is Crazy Geoff's Weapons Emporium (slightly used).
Here is some of the stage 2 buildings with the larger awnings. These are made of kitchen towel soaked in a paint and glue mix. This means they drape nicely when wet but then dry harder.
Here is a nice peaceful house on the outskirts of town. The perfect place for a reclusive hermit to live.

This set is usable as is, but is would benefit from some more shades and weathering.

I have also started on another terrain set. This is inspired by the domed structures of Kamino. Domed structures would be difficult to play in so these will be partially ruined to allow people access to the terrain. This could be used for Stargrave or any other scifi skirmish game. They could even be used for Necromunda if we ever work out how to play that while having fun.

These items were much easier to make now I have a proxxon cutter.

Here is a nice overview shots of the platforms. They are the Cigar Box mat I bought for Carnevale but is also good for any water game. The mat could come in handy if we pick up Ghost Archipelago again.
Here is an overview from a 45 degree angle.
I need to do a bit of work on the borders around the domes and the second stories. In theory they should have joined up nicely but that didn't work out quite like I wanted.
Here is a view through the domes. There are many opportunities to move around and get from one tower to the next and plenty of places to hide or have cover.

This is fun to make and the Proxxon makes it easy to roll out identical pieces.
