7tv- First Episode

Alan and I tried out 7tv. This is a skirmish style game where the game resembles a Saturday afternoon TV show. The game is from Crooked Dice.

After comparing our model collections we ended up with Lord Flashheart and Princess Bob from the 25th Century verses, The Daleks.

Alan has made a great set of terrain from a variety of Sigmarite ruins. We laid it out on one of the club mats and then covered it in some of the Aquarium plants.

Here we have Lord Commander Flashheart, the Time travelling Princess Bob (short for Kate), some extras from a Tarzan movie and some hired muscle.
Here is my Dalak force. I have a leader (hiding out of shot on the left), must have is lid open and the operator is scoffing a pie. We have two robomen guards, 5 mine slaves and the ruthless Lieutenant
This is the table layout Al made, it really does look like a disused Egyptian fantasy movie set. Maybe its from a cancelled Conan movie.

The Daleks advance with eyestalks swiveling. As an evil alien overlord the Dalek leader is besotted with princess Bob and gets a bonus 2 inch move towards her every time she moves. He just wants her chronotron particles honest.
My Grenadier and a slave worker move towards the treasure.
A sneaky timelord materialises in some bushes. Just popping out for a quick cuppa eh Rose.
Security guard Somosa trundles forward, Halt who goes there?
Princess Bob leads a group of native guards. She is so pompus that they all get an extra inch of move if they move away from her.
The Dalek Lieutenant investigates some ruins after picking up a loot counter. He is accompanied by his favourite slave Ablative Wound Number 7. The Dalek can sacrifice another cast member to ignore a wound. Thsi could be the boss if he wants a promotion....

The Boss Dalek has made it over to one of the treasure tokens. Covered by his minions.
Princess Bob strikes a stylish pose covered by her wardrobe assistant. I'm sure she was in Charlies Angles last year.
The Dalek Lieutenant has made it to a good firing position and promptly sets fire to a bush.
A couple of slaves have made it to the central objective and one is facing down Officer Somosa. Maybe she is giving him her phone number.
Flash was not having much fun so far. He missed a turn of actions, then he could not take cover. Now he got hit by a Radium Grenade and could only take one action when he next could move.
Prices Bob is rushing forwards. I'm not quite sure why but boy she is angry. Apparently My Dalek has once stolen a part from her. We exchange futile pistol fire. Its about as likely to cause harm as if we pointing fingers at each other and going pew pew.
One of the native guides has attacked one of my Robomen.
One of my slaves is making a break for it on with the central treasure.
My Grenadier has captured one of Alan's security guards and a slave is rushing over to a 4th objective. Only Lord Flash can save the day.
Officer Somosa is still distracted by my cast extra. the Dalek leader is lurking behind a bush, he released a remote and the explosion knocked over two security guards
The Dalek Lieutenant and Princess Bob continue to shoot ineffectually at each other.

The Dalek Lieutenant knocks out the native bearer while Princess Bob looks on from behind the bush. The Dalek Leader looks on from the top of the stairs.
Princess Bob gets a double dose of suckers and is captured.
My two slaves are escaping from officer Somosa he shot down one and I was lucky that a card forced Alan to give me a replacement. My Slave and Alans native guard are having a stand off over the treasure icon.
My Leader takes a final shot at the security guard but it misses.
In my next turn my team failed its morale test and was axed. At that point the game ended. Here are the survivors.

This was a very fun game. Would play again.

  1. 7TV is a system that I greatly enjoy, especially with the ability to shape casts to different genres. Have you read the pulp, horror, or any other versions?

    1. I have not but Alan has the rules and is making a Cthullu WW2 themed campaign. I agree that its easy to shape casts to the genre you want and your model collection.
