Stargrave - it's a Jungle out there

We got together for another Stargrave mission, game, thing. I got Grok to create a couple of background images.

This time our information took us to a Class L (earthlike) orbiting a gas giant.
While trekking through the jungle looking at the strange plants and animals that inhabit these unique ecological niches. Some of the inhabitants tried to carve their niches on us. Finally, we arrived at an ancient pyramidal shaped building. This was the source of the energy readings we had detected.
Here we are deployed in little corner of the world. After the last game and the death of Trooper Lytton we had to replace him with a Robotic Bruiser to save money.
Just as we got close to the Pyramid what looked like shipping containers dropped out of the sky on parachutes.
Here we are advancing towards the building and the energy sources. The Dalek commander moved right to investigate a nearby energy reading. Unfortunately this turned out to be a pit trap. The Dalek promptly fell in " I am losing control.... Aaaaargh!" However having prepared its antigravitation technology it was able to climb out and didn't suffer any damage to its drive units from the sharpened stakes in the bottom. "This trap was designed to inflict damage on organic life, I am unharmed".
The container disgorged a horde of Plague victims. This would keep us busy for a while.
The Plague victims were quickly and efficiently exterminated. The Daleks moved over to the right to exterminate more plague zombies that were menacing George's crew who were carrying some of our Loot.
More of the team advanced the Dalek Commander was exterminating everything in the nearby area. I had configured its blaster as a flamethrower for this game.
Some of George's crew make it into the Pyramid and are examining the Ark of the Covenant. The Dalek Combat cyborg also made it into the building while the Master looked on from just outside. The Daleks tried to exterminate the humans in the building but were somewhat unsuccessful.
The Daleks relocate to catch George's Lieutenant in a crossfire. The Ogryn gunner is now protecting the Master. Doc Holliday is nearby in case anyone needs an application of a tincture from his potion bag.
Alan's crew have driven off a pack of warp hounds and are now being hunted by their masters. "Defensive formation number 1!" better known as "surround the captain". In the end Alan's crew managed to kill all three of the Alien Hunters for a bonus 900 credits and 150xp.
George's armoured power loader stomped over. It's extensive radiation shielding to allow it to work in industrial environments also proved effective in repelling Dalek blasters.
The action in the central building is hotting up, George's crew had been unable to unlock to Ark and now the situation is further complicated by the arrival of Richard's assault team. His Genetically engineered Lieutenant unsheathed her Adamantium claws.
Richards assault team finished off George's crew and my assault cyborg incapacitates George's Sniper. Richard then unlocked the Ark. This triggered the temple building to activate.
We were dropped into the Xenomorph infested tunnels below. "Hisssssss" One of Richard's crew was sacrificed while the others were able to escape.
Richard was then able to Open the Ark and this released a massive pulse of energy. "Chronoton readings are off the Scale!".
This killed the Xenomorphs and several crew members.
Even the local wildlife was fighting each other in their feeding frenzy.
Frustrated at not being able to get into the temple in time Alan's crew started to engage the Daleks. The Combat cyborg charged Alan's warriors to cover the withdrawal of the rest of the crew. The Cyborg's destruction did buy enough time for the crew to disengage.

We made it out with 2 pieces of loot and recovered 3 items of interest. This was much better than the last mission, where we got nothing other than a cyberman punch to the face.

There were a lot of moving parts in this scenario, and everyone was brain fried at the end of a day of exciting gaming.
